That's so touching, to see how one person can make such a difference. It always makes me feel good if I'm serviced at a store by a thoughtful individual. Kindess is contagious.

That's a very heart warming story. It is amazing how one small act can make such a difference.

But you know there is a flip side to that inspiration too.

How many times have you genuinely thanked the guy who sliced your meat in the deli, or the bag boy who packed your groceries.

How many times have you said hello to your postman when you see him. An what about the guys who pick up the trash and recycle every week.

A simple phrase like thank you, great job, appreciate your help make a big difference in the lives of those who do the most mundane jobs. Don't believe me try it some time.

It takes so little to say "great job" and watch a persons face light up with your recognition. Yet more often than not we forget to thank the people who make our lives so much easier.

Thanks Sabby, great inspiration

Love that flipside!!! You are so right...to acknowledge the folks who do things to make our lives easier...the ones we don't give much thought to on a daily basis, is an awesome way of turning this around and making their day as well! Great suggestions The Simple Truths of Service......
