I'm not sure why I'm still awake. I'm thinking about trying to lay in my bed and put my CPAP mask on and making myself lay still and trick my mind into going to sleep. I haven't drank any caffiene tonight so I know that's not it. I even took a sleeping pill tonight so you'd think I'd be in lala land but nope. I even took some Tylenol PM but so far nothing HMMPFF. I would love to be asleep right now. Maybe tomorrow night I'll sleep better.

I think way too much. I'm so tired, but I'm just sitting here in my bed unable to fall asleep. I downstairs watching tv and I came upstairs at 12 and I said I was going to go to sleep but I really felt like crap so I told my friend to go online so I could talk to her, but she just went to bed and now I'm bored. So I'm emailing my history teacher.

well, we could listen to instrumentals, peaceful ones, and read a light story or something that will not excite our minds - and try a cup of herbal tea specifically for sleeping. fill in 5 things we were grateful for today in a journal. wrap ourselves up in fresh pj's and fresh linens. the whole cha-cha.

after a hot bath with a magazine!

yup, these things help IF I were utilizing them, but right now, lol, I'm NOT.

i hope i do soon though.
i got a list of things to do tomorrow.

I have practice tomorrow. I mean today. At 11 in the morning. And I'm still up so at this point I think I'm going to skip it.

I skipped practice today to dye my hair, lol. But I found it weird that I wake up feeling more well rested, and I wake up easier when I get less sleep.

I have bipolar & spend a lot of time in a mixed state where I'm hypo manic yet can become depressed at the drop of a hat. Consequently, I have major insomnia (maybe sleep 2-3 hours a night which is better than when I'm totally manic) despite taking 3 sedating meds (Trazodone, klonopin & Topamax). At one point doc wanted to add Seroquel; I refused. I don't want to end up like Heath Ledger, but I know I have to figure out how to get some sleep as this is not good for my body or mind--have suicidal thoughts--brain seems to be "misfiring." But I'm just not tired.--Suzy

I'm up again. Tonight I'm up because my cat keeps wanting to go in and out and I can't seem to sleep in my bed when he's outside. I can't hear him ask to come in when I'm in my bed so I sleep on the couch and I don't sleep sound when I'm on the couch. I keep waking up. I'm watching the wierd news show that's on early in the morning. It's called World News Now on ABC and its just light hearted news stories and it just replays all morning until 5 when the local news comes on until Good Morning America. I may just let him sit outside until I get up and go to bed though so I can get a few hours of good sleep though. I'll feel guilty if I do that though so may just go back to laying on the couch.
