Think I can verify it--he REALLY likes me. After he hinted to the others that he wanted to talk alone with me by moving his car backward two feet so I was right next to his car window--something he asked about is if all the homeless guys have been asking me out. (Well, duh, LOL!) From that he went in to what is my ideal man. Short, tall, fat, skinny, hair, bald... He's probably about 5'8", fat, and bald, LOL. He kind of reminds me of my dad, expect for the bald part. I think he seemed to ever so slightly stress his own features in the list he rattled off. He wants to know my answer to how I would describe my ideal man later. And I know and can tell that he WILL follow-up on that! It's nice to have a friend with the police. I mean, think of the potential legal benefits! LOL! Just a week ago he got someone from our homeless group virtually off the hook for trying to stab another homeless guy--who is a total @sshole and seriously deserves a serious lesson! The police were so pleased that someone finally took action against this @sshole that the guy who tried to stab him was *Rewarded* at the police station with pizza for his dinner (instead of the hot dogs that everyone else got), and I don't remember what else. But true, you talk to the police about the incident, they laugh and say that the guy who tried to do the stabbing "could have done a better job". The cop talked to "people" to get the guy off with no bail--just an I bond saying he'll come back to court in a couple weeks. He'll totally get off on the charge. Guaranteed. I can't condone violence, of course, especially with my PTSD, but the guy he was trying to stab really did deserve it. By the way, it was only a scratch! Barely even touched him. Not even stitches. That's why the cops and everybody say he could have done a better job. Anyway, short story long, I don't know what to do or think with this cop since he clearly, definitely does like me! I can't really "go out" with him. I only see him as a cop and friend. My PTSD will react anyway too. I have to admit, it could be kind of fun to be in the homeless community and going out with a cop, LOL. Our population deals significantly with the police, LOL!
