I don't know, lived here for over ten years, you'd think I'd know where the flippin' gate posts are by now wouldn't ya! I keep knocking my wing mirror off and that would be ok if it didn't take me an hour to try and put it back on again.

Well, my son knocked it off again playing football, I was kinda pleased I hadn't knocked it off trying to get in my own drive again but you know how it is when you are in a hurry and need to get that wing mirror back on the car. Pouring with rain and I'm swearing and blinding like a trooper. Son gets the WD 40 out and is spraying it all over the place! I'm trying to calmly tell him that no car needs to be lubricated that much and neither does my hair thank you very much! Car wing mirrors - Tutt! Car wing mirrors - Tutt!

I realized after 45 minutes of trying to get the dam thing on that we are going to be late, son says to take the back cover off the wing mirror and then I might be able to apply more pressure on it. The boy has brains! So, yeah I then spent 15 minutes trying to get the cover off, it went snap but nevermind that!

Some more heaving on the wing mirror and it slotted into place, yes it's attached to my car at last. Just got to put the cover back on it and we'll be away. Tutt! Bits inside it and no I couldn't get it to snap back on like it should because it's broken! Son has to rush inside and get the scissors and sticky tape. Still pouring with rain and I had a real fight with the sticky tape.

Well, anyway, I got my wing mirror back on but it does look a bit strange with a load of sticky tape all round. Hubby came home from work and I see he has done the same thing to his car. How did you do that? I asked. He said well, you'd think I'd know where the flippin' gate posts are by now wouldn't ya! Car wing mirrors - Tutt! Car wing mirrors - Tutt!

LOL Car wing mirrors - Tutt!

I've seen your drive.....and the road you live on....I don't care if you lived there 100 years, you would still have issues driving in without hitting the wing mirror and breaking it! Car wing mirrors - Tutt!

Don't forget, I nearly lost the backend of my car backing up to let someone by on your lovely hedged lined road *sigh* Car wing mirrors - Tutt! Then, pulling into your drive...yep...that was quite an angle you go there deary Car wing mirrors - Tutt! LOL

So why didn't son bring out the soap and towels? Figured while you're getting wet you might as well take advantage of the rain??? LOL

I'm picturing this in my mind now....watching it unfold and yep...I'm a-laughin' Car wing mirrors - Tutt!
