Right now my hair is 2 lengths. My sides are a little past my ears and my back is about shoulder length. The back is driving me nutso. It is too short to pull it up because the sides are too short to pull it back into a ponytail and its too hot to have it touch my neck. So on Wednesday its coming off. I've decided that I like Katie Holmes haircut. So I'm gonna get my hair cut like her's. I figure in the winter I will let my hair grow and in the summer I will cut it off. After I get it cut I will show you what it looks like.

I posted a pic of me now in my gallery so you can kind of get a feeling for what my hair looks like now. The sides are pulled back in the pic in barrettes but trust me they are a little past my ears.

My nickname from childhood is Janniebug as the name on my birth certificate is Janet but I go by Jan.

I got it cut today but I am NOT going back to the place that cut it. The customer service left a lot to be desired. I normally have not had any problems but they must have changed hands or something because the people that were running it today had no customer service skills and seemed put out that they had to help me.

I went to the beauty college. I called ahead this morning and made my appointment and was there plenty early because it drives me nuts to be late anywhere so I knew that wasn't it. So I signed in and was waiting my turn and one of the students picked up my ticket saw my name and said oh a Jan I already cut a Jan's hair today and the person in charge said it's a different Jan she's sitting over there and he looked at me, put my ticket down and practically ran to the back of the studio, pulling his friend with him. Then someone else picked up my ticket saw that it was just a haircut and put the ticket back down. They handed it off to someone else and the person they handed it off to acted like it was beneath her to do my hair and so I decided that I was going to go to the person that does my friend's hair. I like the way my friend's hair is done and Michelle just raves about her hairdresser and it's not much more than I paid today. So after the way I was treated today I am not going back nor am I telling anyone to go to the beauty school. It used to be a good place to go and cheap but they also have raised their prices. I don't blame them for raising their prices but they need to change their signs if they are going to do that.
