I took puppy out for a late nite pee before bed. And low and behold I ran into the neighbor. We were chatting about leaving windows open at night because the weather here has been soo beautiful. I told him I was afraid to leave the windows open at night fearing someone would crawl in the window. There have been many break-ins and I think there is a rapist, not in this local area, maybe 30 or 20 miles from here, but still I try to be careful. Kind of scary when you watch the news and all the shootings and murders and robberies and rapes in the general metropolitan area.. shudders just typing this. But then, I am not all that smart, being I walked the dog at 11pm.

He said you'd have nothing to worry about around here. He said he like to crawl through my window sometime. And asked if I'd like to have a glass of wine with him sometime. I said what? lol Are you drunk? He said heck no..

Geesh, other than I am a tad chubbers, I hardly ever comb my hair, lol.. and I never, ever dress up to go out walking the dog. I don't want any attention drawn to me, not that I look that great lately, I just prefer to not be noticed and this dude is wanting to get together to partake of the "fruit of the vine". lordy, lordy..

Am laffen cuz I am sure the neighbor had to be tipsy or in dire need of glasses. shrugs shoulders.

Am laughing.. this is too funny

I've been single for many, many years. What I want I haven't found yet. I want a "best friend" type of guy. Don't care what he looks like He must have a great sense of humor so when I say or do something stupid, he will laugh and not beat me up. lol Besides, I am not really looking! Relationships can be so complicated and my personal life is already too complicated to take on any more. I'd much rather "window shop" than "buy" smile...

You sound a lot like me, Radio! But a little flirtation can be fun, and good for the self-confidence. Like you say, though, flirting and dating are two very different things. And dating takes energy, LOL!

I think what burst the "dating" bubble is when a guy I dated wanted to do a "three some". lol... Blew my mind. Guess I am at the age where I want more out of a relationship than sex. And it seems no matter what the age of the "man", seems sex is always on their mind..

Sex is cool..I have nothing against it.. Just guess since I am "older" or I've learned a few lessons in life, that I now have "control" over my body and I decide who can touch it. And I am not "easy" to touch ..

the best relationships begin as friendships, then mature into something more. they usually are unexpected, if you are actively looking you are too liable to settle for what you find. and once the fun of the sex wears thin (it will never go completely away in a good relationship) you still have a friend to talk to and laugh with. jmho
