I just opened Cherry's own Spa.... It's beautiful, peaceful and so very calming.

It's practically free, and gift certificates are given away daily for a service of your choice on Muffy's radio program.

To enter the spa, you pass the wonderfully fragrant trumpet tress, and the jasmine crawls up the trellis you walk thru, where you actually stop and smell the roses, and touch the camilla flowers, and whiff the lemon or the orange blossoms as you turn the corner, and if you are lucky you get to pick a ripe fruit to take with you

... where you enter this peaceful natural redwood world of private rooms with your own heated whirlpool, and sauna, and rainwater shower over a river rock ground, with lovely botanical hair products

.... and all of these private rooms have a view of the japenese garden in the back, where bamboo shoots high and deep for your privacy, and there you can view the koi pond and plum trees, where the soft colored lighting makes this japanese garden come to life at night, where you can reserve your private spa till midnight!!! Great for the college kids

... we have massage rooms, and facial rooms, as well as that special place where your little toes and wiggley fingers get pampered as well.

The music is so peaceful and calming
... all provided by our town musicians.
All instrumental. Very new-age.

It works with the movement classes we have during the afternoons and evenings

... and since the spa is not the gym (that's down the block),
we do yoga and qi gong, and self-breema and meditation classes with guided imagery!

These classes are free to our residents.

We serve green, white, and herbal teas to every client who comes thru the doors

... you pick whatever you like out of this selection of rare and exotic teas and herbals
... from all over the world
... and the 'tea master' blends this for you, and makes suggestions.

If you can, you can make the 'japanese tea ceremony' we have here once a week this month.

We will pick something new to do each month, in hopes to introduce to towns people who don't like to travel abroad, aspects of daily life from various cultures

... next month, it's 'high tea' time.

Anyway, hope you win a gift certificate.

Be listening to the radio!

I think all has been a wonderful idea, dream, desire you name it I have loved what I've read. I can't remember if anyone mentioned being a "psychiatrist" that would be me; as I sit quietly and listen to all the dreams and desires of all here at PC. Then I would contact the mayor and tell him what "a diverse" group of people he has in his community.... And lastly, leave it alone because "we enjoy" ourselves just as we are. I love the community here at PC even though we are a lil "wacked". JG.

Just letting everyone know that "Three Stories and more" is having a book club meeting tomorrow at noon. If the weather is nice, we'll take a blanket and go sit by the lagoon or by lake muffy. Everyone bring your own favorite book and we'll talk about what we liked about them! See you then!

I have been at the spa the last few days getting rid of my headache. They have the best tea. I'm oh so relaxed. I think the mayou should get a spa treatment to relax. I think I'll back to the pool hall now. I emailed Dr. Laura and she's gonna come shoot some pool.

Oh how wonderful it would be to actually have this utopia.

I will totally be there, though I will have a hard time picking my favorite book, I have such an odd taste in books that I have a favorite for each type of book. I guess I will go with a safe pick like one of the harry potter books though there is still the problem of which one.

After the meeting I will go to the spa for a massage, I so wish this was a real place but I am enjoying just reading and be apart of this wonderful dream.

Ooooooh can we talk about Harry Potter at the meeting? I read them all and am now collecting them on cd. I have them all in print and on cd I have 2,5,6, and 7. I looooooooooooove Harry Potter. I have all the movies too. The sixth one is coming out sooooooooooooooon.

Hey maybe in Cherry, wizards exist. Hey maybe Harry Potter is real and J.K. Rowling is a witch and wrote about the truth but pretended its fiction. Maybe in Cherry Harry and Ginny decide to reveal themselves to us since we're such wonderful muggles. And then Ron and Hermione come visit and show us Wizard Billiards. And then we can play Wizard Chess at the Silver Sparrow. Maybe we can all play with the invisibility cloak. And Pigwidgeon can fly around dropping chocolate frogs.

Ok now I'v e really gotten into this fantasy LOLOLOLOL.

Too funny!! They drive me nuts because they don't even have to be watching the movie and they'll start quoting from it. Tori is reading the 7th book for the second time, I've lost track of how many times they've read them!

I am glad to hear that I am not the only one that has fantasies about j.k. rowlings being a witch and the whole story is really true. Yay I am not alone!
I could talk about Harry Potter all day, I do believe it is the best series of books that I have ever read and I often dream of being in that world. I think a Harry Potter fan club has to be started in cherry, we could even dress up.

Ice, I was listening to a talk radio show and they were talking about the Minnesota brdge collapse a few years back. I thought.....that was Voldemort. Oooooh should I not write his name? I told a friend of mine about my theory that the books could be real. I think she agreed just to be nice LOL. But they could be....

Maybe we should start looking for Dobby, I mean wouldn't Cherry be a great place for free housee elves? Let me know if you see Nearly Headless Nick by the pool hall. I just hope Peeves doesn't come and start messing with the balls. Oh wouldn't it be loverly.....

Oh yes, I think that I had a similar thought when something bad happened assuming that voldemort did it, it may have even been the bridge collapse, didn't that happen near a book release.

I will join the welcoming committee for the free house elves, I think they would fit in wonderfully.
