It's as poor as an excuse as any, but because I'm not Catholic, I didn't pay much attention to him until he got so sick. Now I'm regretting not being a witness to all the great things he did. Gonna go out and buy me his books and some biographies, although I saw the ones on TV. Two pictures that are in embedded in my mind are one of him and Mother Theresa walking down an isle holding hands. She was so short she barely came to his waist! It was so adorable, cute, exciting and all good things that can come to mind! Mother Theresa is one of my favorite people, too.

The other picture is of the Pope walking down a street or a sidewalk where two little kids are playing on the ground. He walks up to them slowly and quietly and quickly throws his red robe around them, hiding them inside it. He looks up with that implish grin he was famous for. The only other hiding place that could be any better would be in the robes of Jesus. Good bye John Paul 2

What a wonder of a man Pope John Paul II was!! What a huge loving heart he had! Good bye John Paul 2 We're all the better for having had him among us.
