I hate to go to sleep. My Mom passed 10 years ago. We were very close. I still have frequent dreams in which I'm waiting for her to come home and she never does or I'm waiting for her call that never comes. By the end of these sad dreams, I come to the conclusion that she must be dead if she hasn't contacted me by now. Then I wake up. Sad. Very sad. It doesn't help that Mother's day and Mom's birthday is right around the corner.
 . I don't know how to deal with this besides not sleeping.

I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom, as those holidays approach, I hope you'll be surrounded by beautiful memories of her to keep her close to your heart and mind.

You are correct. Easter is one of those family get-together-holidays. I'm not looking forward to it but I'm trying to remember that day on a more spiritual level. I've been having good days and bad days but I'm trying to remember the fun, the good and the great times I had with Mom. For the last three days, I didn't have one of those sad 'Mom dreams' - I'm happy to say.
