A friend in the model horse hobby took her life recently. I never met her but we exchanged emails and I never knew she was depressed. Today was her memorial but it was too far for me to travel. In January I received a horse she painted for me. The horse has been above my fireplace since I received him. Such a tragic loss of a kind and talented person.
 She took these pics before she mailed my horse. May she rest in peace.

Yoda,
I am so sorry to hear about your friend. What a talented person she was...What a beautiful horse she painted. How sad when someone feels the need to end their life that way. It's a loss that is felt no matter how close we are to the person. My daughter & I went through that just a few months ago with a boy she met while on vacation one summer when she was in high school. It's a shock to hear when someone ends up at that point with their life. Take care of yourself & your feelings at this time also. Gentle

My condolences. We lost a dear one to suicide this year. It is very sad. .
