In april of 2002 my husbands young cousin was killed in a car accident. He died 2 days before his 17th birthday. This week-end a friend/ co-worker's 17 yr old son was killed in a car accident. We are going to the funeral home today for visitation. I'm just glad I don't have to go alone. It's just bring up the feelings and memories

(((((monty)))) that is terrible. I do understand how it brings up emotions you don't want to feel. I know since my granddaughter died almost 10 yrs ago I can hardly stand to be around little girls that would be her age. I will keep you in my prayers

It was very hard to be there today. There is nothing I can say. I can't imagine the pain she's going thru. All I could do was to hug her and cry with her. And all I kept thinking was this is just like Joseph's. And how much I miss him.

I do the same thing. Say Joseph would be their age, he would be doing that now. Joseph left to go to the store for a magazine. Just an everyday simple act. Since his death my H and I never walk out the door to leave without saying we Love each other. We never know if it could be the last time we say it.
