My friend died last night in a car accident. Some of you already know this. Understandably, I am having a hard time right now, and I probably won't be here much for a little while... maybe a couple weeks or so. I just didn't want anyone to worry. Take care everyone.... and remember not to take anyone forgranted.

Love, Jennifer

I am going to my friends funeral in the morning. I have cried as much as I think humanly possible. Probably not, huh? Anyway, I was thinking today about what a wonderful life she had while she was here on this earth. She had a great partner and a wonderful child. They were all happy. She had many, many friends. People loved her. They just loved her to bits. It makes me happy to think about that. She had written a few things down in a journal about how she wanted things to go if ever anything happened to her. So far everything has been done that she wanted. I spent some time talking about her with her mother yesterday. She said, "You know, June had everything planned out well... and even after her own death she is still leading me along, because right now I couldn't do this alone." She was grateful that June had thought about what would happen if something happened like this. She was just thoughtful like that. I'm going to miss her. I already miss her. Everything about her. The way she could never drink or eat anything without getting some of it on her clothes or her face...LOL. My friend. She was original. She even made her own clothes. She made me a few things even. What a special person. I'm glad I have good memories of her. I'm going to need them tomorrow for sure. Thanks to all of your for your support. I don't know what I'd have done without you all. I'm doing better than I was. Alot better. I talked to my T a couple of times, and he thinks I am doing well too. He told me to give myself time to grieve though. So that's just what I am doing. But I still love remembering her as happy as she was... doing the things she loved.. being around the people that meant so much to her. That's how I'll remember my friend.

I am terribly sorry for your loss. I think that your doc is right about time to grieve. And I'm glad that you are able to think of the good times you guys had together. Sometimes that's difficult in this type of situation. I am so glad that you had someone like her in your life. She sounds like a beautiful person. Stay strong. And if you can't, call on us... we'll be here. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow morning. Take care.

Ryan

Well, it's officially over. My friend is really gone... never coming back again. The funeral went well, and if there is such a thing as a beautiful funeral, June had it. I've never seen so many flowers in one place in my entire life. June would have been pleased... I know it. I'm doing better than I thought I would be. I feel exceptionally calm. It's still not easy, but I'm doing ok. Thanks everyone.

MP thanks for sharing in her life and yours. I have found that in dealing with the death of those we love, the best thing to do in your grief is talk about the person alot. I know it sure helped me when I lost my granddaughter. I am here as well as many others to listen. (((U)))

Thanks to all of you for all of your hugs and support and advice. You just don't know how much it means to me. I have been talking with my T about June's death. It's helping. I still think of her all the time. Everything she liked reminds me of her. But I am still doing ok. Again, thank you all so much.
