My father passed away on Christmas morning of 1991 and my mother in february of 1997 about 5 months before I got engaged to my husband and I was 31 at the time. I feel very lonely for them becuase my husband's family isn't supportive and my husband just doesn't get it as far as my depression & anxiety goes and I feel very alone. I know that my parents would be there for me all the way for emotional support. I'm glad that they have this section at this forum.

I'm so sorry. I miss my parents... Just know that there are people here that understand what you are dealing with. We will offer you all the support and understanding that we can. Hang in there, hun.

Sorry to hear that. That's got to make the holidays tough. I'm sure your parents are proud of you for working through this depression and anxiety.

I know how terrible this must be for you. Try to hang in there. We're all here for you, no matter what you're going through.

Hi Feline Heart,

I got a lot of emotional support from my parents, and miss them both too, so I understand.

PM if would like to chat about it.
