I just found out my neighbor might not make it. She went in the hospital last week. She is 86 so I was expecting it one of these days but never this soon. Her son said nobody can visit her and even if they could she said she didn't want to see anyone and he said you wouldn't want to see her like this. She is hooked up on all these machines and that is basically the only thing that's keeping her alive. She was always the nicest person ever. She never once missed my birthday expect this year and its today. It's the worst news on my birthday. She always said she prays for my family. I will never get to see her again if she doesn't get better which it seems like she won't now. And I remember last year when my parents just separated and my mom was upset she came over to talk to my mom and make her happy.

I'm so sorry. She sounds like an amazing woman with a huge heart. She will be missed by many many people.

I know it's going to hurt when she passes. But remember that at 86, she's had a full life. She's experienced many things, undoubtedly had many joys and many heartaches -- but she experienced it all.

I'm sure God is with her right now, waiting for her as she makes the transition. So try not to be TOO sad. Where she is going is a much better place than this is. She will soon be with God.

Please take care and God bless. Hugs, Lee

It's always especially sad to see a dear person who has meant so much to us pass on. But I personally believe there is life after death. She has lived a long life, and I hope folks have learned from her example of caring. But remember that she is likely suffering and will be healed from her broken-down body when she passes into the next part of life. I can't say that you won't see her again one day in the future.

Happy Birthday, dear one! Please keep things in perspective and don't let this sad news ruin your special day. She wouldn't want you to, I'm sure.

Thank you both! Yeah your right God is probably with her now and to remember she is probably hurting and would be better if she was in heaven so she doesn't have to go through the pain anymore.
