I met him in high school. I barely knew him but he was such a young, vibrant, talented musician. He was 16 years old. Going into grade 12. I did musical with him and he was so nice. He was so good at what he did.
I only talked to him once or twice but his death is affecting me so much. I can;t stop thinking about the meaning of life and death and the meaning of life in death. It's driving me insane. He was so young and we lost him to drugs. I just can;t quite grasp the idea of someone so good and so young being dead. It is driving me insane. |

please don't be depressed. You should not feel bad about it because you have no control over life or death. The person was so fascinating that he touched your heart. I pray you will be fine soon.

Give yourself time. It is hard when someone you know, that is so young, dies. Especially, from such a useless death due to drugs. You must take time to let your self grieve, even though you weren't close to this person you are still grieving his death. Death is hard on the living. We mourn what is no longer there for us. This is normal. Take your time. Is there a school counselor maybe that you could speak to about this? It might help to have the help of an adult to this, as they have experienced death more than you have. Good luck.
