I know it has been a really long time since I have been around but I feel like I have been put on spin dry in the washer.

Some of you that remember me may remember my mom had breast cancer about 4 years ago, that next year she ended up having an emergency hysterectomy due a rare case of uterine cancer (with both of those she had radiation) well the cancer wasn't done with her yet and it came back and this time latched onto her lungs so they tried chemo 3xs each time a different kind but the chemo was worse than the cancer so it was finally determined to just make her comfortable.

She passed away late Friday night with my dad holding her hand, her last words were I love you.

Those of you who know me know this is a hard time for me as my mom and I were really close. When I was a baby she was the only one that could hold me anyone else tried with the exception of a preacher that was visiting our church, I would pitch a major fit until mom came to rescue me.

So please keep me in your thoughts as I try to process all of this.

I'm sorry Jbug, that you have to go through this. I've been there and my mom was my best friend, too. I understand the pain you must be feeling. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Thinking of you and feeling for you during this time of sadness. I too, lost my mom, two years ago due to alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. It seems like only yesterday, and at times, also as if I've spent a lifetime missing her. Losing someone so close is a long process, and life as you once knew it will never be the same. lean on those closest to you, reach out, as you've done so here.

Thank you so much for all your kind words. I ended up not handling it as well as I thought I would.

I am currently in a physical rehabilitation hospital due to the fact I basically shut down. I pretty much became one with my recliner. So became very weak, and it came down to the fact I got stuck in my dad's recliner and he had to call for help to get me out and dad took me to the regular hospital where they admitted me and kept giving me fluids and vitamins and finally found this place me and I am here until I get strong enough to live on my own again so if today was any indications on how long I will be here I imagine 2 weeks.

climbing back out of a hole is not easy... i know~ if you can set your sights on a simple goal and just work towards that "As You Are Able"~! being kind to yourself along the way~ that is the way i found my way.

if you can afford some non-traditional therapy, i used a brain repair system called holosync. it's a sound therapy that stimulates the brain to regrow and reconnect the nerve synapses (links) that sustain balance, of all kinds. you can read more about it at CenterPointe.com. there is also a link in Other Treatments Forum:
http://forums.psychcentral.com/other...editation.html
which describes some of the effects for one other person. i personally had nothing but good results, and i've known 5 other people who used it.

i hope you make a full recovery~!
