They carried the last of Momma's things out tonight. The apartment is all empty.
Because my own Mom has been in the hospital this whole time, I feel I'm in some sort of dream. I didn't get to go to the wake or funeral. Maybe it was better that way, I don't know. They did tell me she looked beautiful in the dress we picked out. I don't want anyone else to move into Momma's apartment. I know someone will, but it will seem like it's very wrong. Jan

Thank you so much. They gave me some more of Momma's things. One of them is a cup that says, "Mom" on it. They saved it just for me. I am so blessed. Momma went to a Dr. in the same practice that I do. I broke the news to them when I went in today. My Dr. almost cried, but I think she knew I'd fall apart if she did. Momma was loved by all who knew her. What a wonderful legacy she left. I have learned a lot from Momma's death. I just don't have all the peices of the puzzle put together yet. When I do, I hope to write here about it. Maybe it will help someone. I don't know if I wrote about it, but I dreamt about Momma. She was sitting in front of me and she was laughing. She said, "Quit all this worrying, baby. I'm all right. I'm just fine." Then she burst out in a big, happy laugh and I couldn't see her anymore. I did get to see her one last time... Jan

Jan in the forum for spirituality I have a thread on "I Believe in Angels", you have recieved a wonderful gift Momma Co is your Gaurdian Angel now I believe this with all my heart and soul

January, my Dad visited me often in my dreams... only infrequently now, but the same message... He pops up out of context to the dream, peeks around a wall or doorway or hedge and asks How I'm doing and says he's fine...then disappears. Yes, I get to visit with him, it's so comforting.
