Izzy got sick and was rushed to emergency hospital last week and the vet said her liver was not working to process protein and was not removing toxins from her blood. The vet said something about blood clots on the liver and if they were removed, little Izzy would be ok. They did the surgery and she had seizers and they put her in a coma to let her body adjust to her liver working. But she died.
 Everything happened so fast. Am not even sure if the surgery was needed so soon. Things do not add up, but it might be because we are all so upset. She is gone and it hurts.

It is still hard to believe she is gone. She is/was the most loving little dog. We buried her the other night. Think I will plant some wild flowers where we buried her.. |

sorry to hear about izzy. i know my heart has been broken by the passing of a pet before. they are a part of our family and we grieve their loss as such. sending healing thoughts your way.
