Bob aka Bulldog, my dear friend, has been gone a year today! As odd as this seems, today my Grandpa has been dead 20 years. I never knew their deaths fell on the same day until a few days ago.

Bob and I dated in the mid 80's, I moved back to OH. He lived in FL. I got married, had kids, divorced...we started to write. The man had no cell phone or computer. We wrote long letters, sent funny articles, pictures...

I couldn't talk to him in Aug, or was it Oct? He had called and I was with my daughter. He called a month or so before he passed away. He couldn't breathe very easily. I just didn't hear from him and then I googled his name. He'd been gone less than a week.

I miss you my dear friend! Rest Well, xo

Cat Lover 58, I am sorry for all your losses. Life, it does happen. And eventually we get our turn. If it makes you feel better, write him a letter on this side telling him how much you miss him and all the wonderful things you shared and learned together. Then tuck it away.
