Bob aka Bulldog, my dear friend, has been gone a year today! As odd as this seems, today my Grandpa has been dead 20 years. I never knew their deaths fell on the same day until a few days ago.

Bob and I dated in the mid 80's, I moved back to OH. He lived in FL. I got married, had kids, divorced...we started to write. The man had no cell phone or computer. We wrote long letters, sent funny articles, pictures...

I couldn't talk to him in Aug, or was it Oct? He had called and I was with my daughter. He called a month or so before he passed away. He couldn't breathe very easily. I just didn't hear from him and then I googled his name. He'd been gone less than a week.

I miss you my dear friend! Rest Well, xo

Cat Lover 58, I am sorry for all your losses. Life, it does happen. And eventually we get our turn. If it makes you feel better, write him a letter on this side telling him how much you miss him and all the wonderful things you shared and learned together. Then tuck it away. Go read it later when you feel better. And it will heal you. Blessings (((hugs)))
Thanks for this!
