it's almost 2 months since I lost my darling son to suicide.....
life is becoming harder by the day and i am so sad and depressed...
is anyone else here a survivor of suicide and how do you cope?.
I am alone but have a councilor I see once a week .....I have other children who don't bother about me but I was very close to my son....
I have suffered with depression all my life so I know how much pain my son was in and I'm not angry with him...I just wish he would've sought help when I pleaded with him...I feel so guilty that I didn't do more....
he trusted me to tell me how he felt and I let him down..
I miss him so....

Hello Tish me too. And freaky things are happening to me like he just got sent a fine
for going thru the tollway on the day that he died. Its horrible all the technical stuff
like filling out forms cancelling bank accounts etc. My son who was a member here
was lost (death) 1.2.2010... Ive found it hard to cry because I already cried for more than a year waiting for this horrible thing to happen......
((((((hugs)))))) to you Tish

kind thoughts for you Jjulia

thanks Sabrina and Julia...
Julia....I can relate to what you said about expecting it to happen ...my son said It wouldn't be so bad for me because he had warned me for so long.....??????
I was almost as down as him in the finish listening to him talk about it but not being able to help him...
I'm finding it hard to cry now because I hyperventilate and have a panic attack...I'm too scared to cry too much....
Hugs to you..

As a mother to 3 boys, I am so sorry for your losses, I can't imagine your pain, but I send immense hugs to you both for the tragic losses.

Tish,
I am so very sorry for your loss You did the greatest thing a mother could do, you loved him!!! I hope everyone on this site realizes through your experience and through your loss and suffering just how vital it is that we all keep on living no matter what we have been handed in life. I have been taught that we will not be given anything we cannot bear, and just when I dont think I can go on another second, I do!!! We dont want to hurt anyone the way we hurt.
