My 2y old granddaughter just lost her dad in a shooting. She is well advanced for a 2y old, very good vocabulary. How can I help her, when she repeatedly tells everyone, My daddy got shot. Where is my daddy?

Hello jules: I noticed this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral.
 I'm sorry I cannot be of help with regard to the tragic situation you describe. Hopefully there will be other members, here on PC, who will have some suggestions they can share. That's so sad. Sorry your granddaughter is going through that. It is probably hard to explain to her that her dad is gone. Not sure how you can do that.
