I found out on Friday that A WEEK AGO my "baby" was put down. My family didn't have the decency to tell me before this... I'm devastated. He was my life. He was my joy. He was the only one in my family to love me unconditionally, and the only reason I felt I could survive the Christmas holidays with my family.

It just isn't fair. He was around 14 years old - but he was too young to die. I need him.

My heart now has another hole in it.

Why is life so mean to me... losing a cat, an aunt, my grandfather not even 2? weeks ago and now my dog - all in one year.

RIP Buster, my baby dog RIP Buster, my baby dog

I love you Buster. You are my baby. You are the light of my life, my joy and the only one to love me unconditionally and to listen to me no matter what. I'm so sorry I didn't get to say goodbye. I'm sorry you were suffering at the end - I'm sorry I wasn't a better owner and sister to you.

I love you, I miss you. You'll never be forgotten or replaced in my heart.

RIP Buster, my baby dog

edit: Picture of Buster (and Zipper, who passed away a few months ago) in the gallery.

I'm so sorry to hear about Buster... Gee you are sure having trouble catching a break here aren't you RIP Buster, my baby dog RIP Buster, my baby dog

And as for your family... maybe they just wanted to delay telling you because of everything else that has happened? They knew how close you were with him, and wanted to try and let everything else settle a little more before telling you?

Either way though, I know how frustrating it can be to not have your family keep you in the loop, especially with important things like this.

Hang in there buddy ...
lots of love
xoxo
Jacq RIP Buster, my baby dog

OK, I'm going to cry too. RIP Buster, my baby dog

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dear Buster.

Dogs and cats love us unconditionally.

Have you heard the one, "Please make me the person my dog thinks I am."?

Love,

EJ RIP Buster, my baby dog

I'm so sorry!
I can really relate to how you feel- when I was 13, my iguana saved my life. I had her because no one else wanted her, she was soley my responsibility, I felt we were both in the same position- if either of us died, no one would care. So I stayed alive to take care of her, and her life saved mine...
Now, I also have two dogs. I love them to death, although my family loves them too, so when I'm feeling down, I don't look to them as a life line, as I do my iguana.

I'm so sorry for your lost, I don't know what I would do if any of my babies where to pass on.
~*~Sending love and strength your way ~*~
