I've had Belle ever since she was a kitten, and I got her when I was six. She's been with me for nearly 17 years. She was starting to get sick, wasn't able to care for herself, and it was her time. We put her down yesterday, and I was able to say my goodbyes to my best furry friend. All of my other fur babies have gone, and now they're in heaven. I miss them so much, and I have so many memories with pictures to keep forever. I just wish they were with me now.

I'm so sorry! My cat passed away 1 week ago, and I am having a hard time coping. I had Harley since he was 5 months old. He was 13 and died suddenly. I was blessed to be holding him when he took his last breath, but I am looking for any advice or coping skills to deal with his death, because I am not dealing with it well at all. Hugs to you for losing your baby. I know it is so hard.

Omg, I am so sorry to hear this for all of you! I have had to do that myself; nothing can make it easy, in my opinion. xoxoxoxox

BubonicPlague and Wish I was a cat ,

my deepest sympathies to each of you!!

I know exactly what it's like, the furballs are like children to some, a big part of the family! lots of people just don't understand that.

I just lost my 5yo 'kid' Austin last year, and i'm still missing him a bunch. hang in there, both of you! remember, they know EXACTLY how much you love them and they truly love us back -> straight up love, no judgement or ridicule or mind games, just pure love & acceptance / appreciation as is!!!!!!

I'm sorry to hear that. I had to put my cat down last year I had for twenty one years. The day I took her in the vet said she had an hour left and she would be gone. My twelve year old nephew was heartbroken because she been there his whole life.
