on new years eve i went to my cousins house. she is the mother of my cousin who committed suicide 5 years ago. his portrait was on the wall and it hit me so hard to see it. i was trying not to be an emotional wreck that evening becuase i was last year. but then my cousin comes and kisses the portrait and then hugs me. of course u know what happened after that, the flood of tears i had been holding back all night just started to flow down my cheeks. and there were others who didnt know how close my cousin and i were so they were staring like "whats wrong with her" and my cousin was nice enough to explain how close her son and i were. but anyway just wanted to share.

Hi Agony,

I'm sorry for your loss.

With suicides there are typically unanswered questions, which are never answered, which complicates the feelings of loss.

Your cousin will live in your heart forever, and you will see him again.

I'm so sorry for your loss. A suggestion I always make for anyone who's lost someone...Celebrate that persons life! Get your cousin(mother) involved. Get some balloons, write a special note to your cousin(deceased)go to their grave and celebrate their life and send your message. Or something similar. You were blessed to have the time you did with your cousin. You have to try to celebrate that time you had.
Blessings
