I am choosing not to acknowledge this 'celebration' of something I do not have this year. Im staying in bed and Im ignoring the world.

I'm so sorry for your loss... Father's Day

I lost my mom three years ago tomorrow and on mother's day, I struggle a lot. I've tried this in the past, and it's helped some, so maybe it'll help you too: make today a day celebrating the memory of your father. Believe me when I say I know it's easier said than done.

Take care of yourself, and do whatever it is you need to do to get through this day.
