I know your life
On earth was troubled And only you could know the pain You werent afraid to face the devil You were no stranger to the rain Chorus: Go rest high on that mountain Son, you work on earth is done Go to heaven a shoutin Love for the father and son Oh, how we cried the day you left us We gathered round your grave to grieve I wish I could see the angels faces When they hear your sweet voice sing Beautiful song, but it makes me weep so fast. Played at Daddy's funeral and it always make me relive that day. I can't bring myself not to occasioanly listen to it. I hope hes in Heaven. I want to see him again. ![]() ![]() ![]()

HALLIEBETH, I have lost people close to me, but not a parent. I can only imagine the pain of you losing your dad. I feel for you. I am sending positive thoughts your way.

(((Hallie)))
I know how songs can remind us all of certain events, I guess that's why I love music. I listen to certain songs to remind me of certain people, places and times in my life. To me the song brings that person right back into my soul, I close my eyes and I can almost touch them. We played "Yesterday" by the Beatles at my Daddy's funeral, just thinking of the song makes me cry. I don't think it has to be a bad thing to cry for the ones we love when we are reminded of them.
