I really don't need anyone to read this, I just want to write it down. Just a mumble-jumble of thoughts about my aunt who just died. Not in any particular order, no rhyme scheme, just words.

Homemade donuts,
Grapevines,
Fishing in your pond.

Fireworks on the 4th--
Tawas--
We made you go.

Our love of books,
Your garden,
Riding in a dune-buggy.

Uncle George shot the Easter Bunny!
Laughing
At his corny jokes

Summer time at your place
In the woods
We used to walk

Uncle George on deer hunting
"They'll starve"
Showing us the carcass, making us scared.
(Still don't agree, though you did)

Shopping with mom at Shipshewana
laughing laughing laughing
all the time.

You were my mom's aunt, but her best friend too
Talking all the time.
She'd take you with her where ever she'd go

Happy to have you along

We new it was coming
But so quick you had to go

Ok Friday, Sunday a coma
gone
today.

Mom's best friend,
my dearest aunt,
she misses you so.

What do I do?
How do I help?
What would you do?

You're at peace now
With Uncle George.
This is our final goodbye.

No showing, no funeral,
just bury me now is
what you said.

Aunt Gloria, please help
Grandma watch over mom.
