Today is the 13th Anniversary of my Moms death, I miss her very much.She was a kind, loving, warm , goodhearted woman who would do anything for anyone. I was unable to be with her when she passed away. For years I carried that guilt with me. But I did have ther reassurance that she died in my fathers arms.She was not alone. She was cared for at home by us for 9 months. That is something I will never ever regret doing. This song bye Patty Loveless, touched my heart so deeply, that I thought I would share it with you all. I know that if she could be here with me now, she would want me to tell you all as I do myself, that your support and caring means so much. And thank you for that. She is missed very much. When I first heard this song this summer or spring, can't remember when exactly, but it touched me, left me teary eyed, so much truth to this song.
This year will be 2 years since my dad passed away (11/26/02) for me it is very hard to deal with, but I carry on.
One thing that a passing of a love one does to you is make you realize for sure how short life is and to do the best you can to enjoy the years we, the living have left, no matter how simple it is, as long as one is happy.
Okay part of me is, but that huge portion of "heart" that has been taken from me makes me feel so lost often.
I just recently started getting into C&W, but there are so many good tunes with deep lyrics, I wish I knew the artist's
names, there is one called, "Live like you were dieing", it is a good example of what I am trying to say here.
I am sending you many huge hugs, and I mean this for all that are dealing with grieving and/or caregivers.
I prayer for strength to help us endure the things that challenge our hearts, and say thanks to those who offer support

Darkeyes~ Thanks, That is Tim McGraw that sings Live Like You Were Dying. He dedicated that to his dad Tug McGraw who played for I think the Philadelphia Phillies as a pitcher. The past few years of Tugs life Tim and him reunited and became closer. They didnt have a relationship when Tim was younger. Any questions about some songs just aske me or pm me, I got a ton of cd's! Tryin, i have missed you in chat today. Sundays are hard for me, how bout you? I don't know what the birdie doo thing is about but earlier today I was telling folks on chat how I was lying in bed with a sore back and had to call my hubby up because I smelled doggie doo. I keep a sheet over the top of my bed so the dogs don't soil it. Well, he came up and wiped my little girls hind end with a baby wipe. I thought I was imagining the lingering odor and after a while I got up and took my two little dogs to the store with me and noticed that undeniable doggie doo smell. I went into *****art and bought more baby wipes and tried in vain to clean her up. Yuck! She got a hair cut when I got home and now she is mad at me. Now this has to do with nothing except it's silly and made me laugh inspite of myself. Your Birdie doo reminded me. Hope you are doing well. Take care.

Tryin, no more doo doo, all gone. Glad you laughed. Man, I have more for you: I have a small office at another agency that they donate to us. There is a rule that animals can only come for visits, brief, to the adult day care downstairs. The director is a great woman, a good friend, but she hates animals, they scare her. Anyway she hadn't come in one morning and I was up with my 4 legged children saying hi to everyone when someone pointed out there was a piddle in the director's office. So there are 4 people trying to stall her and not laugh whilst I was discreetly throwing half a box of cleanex on the floor and stepping on it. Somehow I managed to pick it up and toss it and act oh so innocent. Hmm, she was wondering why we were smiling. AND THEN! One time when my little one was a puppy I ran up to get a file and make a call with him and left quickly. I get paged a few minutes later by the secretary who tells me there is poop by the copier. Okay, so what am I supposed to do when I am 6 miles away with a client? I called back and spoke with a worker who I know and she ran up to deal with the poop. That was horrid! Puppy pottying! So, luckily my daughter doesn't read this, when she was little she used to pull off her diaper and go behind the chair and I would hear grunting and find poops, I felt like I had a new puppy to chase around. Now she is 17 and I have embarrassed her with this story a few times. So poop happens and my level of maturity is about here. Hope you are doing well and I am thinking about you trying.

It came and went{November 16th} and I finnaly was able to deal with the anniversary of my moms death just fine. After 14 years since her death.. I was able to remember the GOOD TIMES we had and smile. Not cry and be depressed because I missed her so much. I finnally feel like I could do what she would want me to and love her and remmeber her without being sad.I feel bad it took me so long to do this. But I feel with the progress I have made this past year, I somehow knew it was coming for me too. I am so relieved and so thankful. I am especially thankful for the time I had with this exceptional woman who was one of my best friends, and a friend to many who knew her. Mom~ I love you.
