![]() If you have heart disease though, you need to call your doctor. If you have heart disease (if your doctor has said so) then this could be a symptom of function and might result in blood clots... not good. You say you won't go to doctor, but are you on a new medication? If so, you do need to call the doctor with the problem. Sometimes feet and legs swell if you do alot of walking or exercise the day before or earlier that day, and aren't used to it. Put your feet up, drink lots of water and don't eat salty foods ... ![]()

Wifey, the only thing you have to fear is yourself. If you would do those things to help yourself, your life could get so much better than it is now. You are a good person angel, but you need to learn to be responsible for your life the way it is now. That means, getting clean and sober, and most of all, GETTING TO THE DOCTOR! I know it's not easy hun, but one reason it's not is because you are holding onto this pain you are stuck in, and it's eating you alive. You are the only one who can change this. You CAN change. Let go of the ghosts of the past, and take that first step into YOUR new world. It can be whatever you make it. It can be good. And it can be free of the pain you feel now. But only YOU can make it that. I know you can do it hun. Be strong, I know you are. I love ya.

Angel,
Please go get to the doctor or a clinic and get those legs looked bat. This could be simple, or a little difficult... but postponing it won't help. Meanwhile, elevate your legs higher than your heart on a pillow or two on the bed and relax. Rest your mind as well. Worry is not helping anything. Drink lots of water... not too much, but enough till you see a Dr. or nurse. Sometimes the liver causes this, sometimes salt, sometimes, the sourse is from other areas. Edema, if it's a little more than swelling, is a symptom and can be helped. You will be fine if you seek help and be pro-active as you want to, I'm sure, with your health. The best to you on your outing to get answers. Peace and support, Night xoxo |

I hope you've made an appointment with the doctor. Can you talk about your anxiety more? What are you afraid is going to happen?
If you don't have a regular doctor, then what you can do is ask for referrals from your insurance company, and then call the doctor's secretary and mention that you have a fear of doctors. She may be able to direct you to the doctor in the practice who's best helping anxious patients. Then when you see the doctor mention it to them that you have a lot of anxiety about seeing doctors, and they will likely be more sensitive and communicative about what's going on, what they're planning to do, etc. |
