Right side, top and bottom. I got these crowns last year. It was my first time ever so the whole process was new to me.
The dentist is a total nightmare for me. I'm not afraid of the pain, I just have serious PTSD issues with someone standing over me and me not being able to move. ![]() This is what did it. ![]() ![]() |

Hope you can get them fixed for free...most of the time they are gauranteed for 5 to 7 years. I know insurance companys don't pay for them unless they are that old, depends on what insurance you have. But they are meant to last longer than one year! |

I didn't know flowers had teeth... ![]() ![]() Perhaps finding another dentist who can better help you is an option? I know there are some dentists who are more knowledgeable how to help people with anxiety about going to the dentist... amongst other things. If that doesn't work... do you have any sort of anti-anxiety med you can take at the same time?? I can't believe an EverLasting Gobstopper caused the problem! I know Willy Wonka says they last forever... but I didn't know they could ruin teeth. ![]()

My temporary crown fell off while eating raisins.
![]() I stuck it back on but it fell off again while eating a bread stick. Of course it was the weekend so the dentist was probably lounging at the pool. ![]() Yesterday I made galumpkies (stuffed cabbage rolls) and I was VERY careful to chew on the other side so I wouldn't have any problems with said temporary crown. The damn galumpkies were so hot that when I took a bite, I had to toss it back and forth in my mouth to cool it down before getting off a successful swallow. ![]() Well apparently, that brief recreation dislodged the crown again, and unbeknownst to me . . . You know where this is going, right? ![]() I am now missing a temporary crown. ![]() ![]() |

My husband wondered if swallowing crowns was where the saying "don't let it bite you in the _ _ _" came from, lol.

Well, I guess some good news is you don't have to tell the dentist it was candy... now you can say that amazingly it was simply cabbage rolls

When I went in to get my temporary crown the dentist asked if I'd been chewing rocks.

Ha! I'm glad you got a temporary already. That was fast.
Did you tell him, um, the whole story? |

The cabbage rolls sound good. Now I'm hungry.
Be sure to ask your dentist if the repair will be covered since they were done within the last year. I think that's what you said. I'm not particularly fond of going to the dentist these days either. EJ ![]() |
