Hello. I would first of all like to say hi to everyone as i am new here.

I am seeking help, it probably isn't anything and i refuse to go to the Doctor because its embarrasing.

I am 18, i have suffered very bad short term memory for over 4 years now, but as of about 3 months ago i have started having other symptoms. I have developed a very short attention span and lots of mood swings. It is rather frustrating and as i say it's probably nothing but can i get some feedback from people who suffer from/has suffered from these symptoms please?

Kind Regards,
Chance

Welcome Chance.

Depression can cause memory problems for me. I find my attention and concentration can be pretty bad when I'm off meds. I was so bad I was wondering if I had ADD.

You might get more responses if you post this to the ADD and Depression forums.

If I were you, I'd definitely be seeing a doctor. All you can get here are "ideas." A doctor can give you the real low-down.

There's no need to be embarrassed. It's not something you did to yourself, and even if it was, that's what doctors are for; to help us take care of ourselves. It COULD be depression, but then again, it could be something else.

I'm encouraging you to please see a doctor ASAP. Feedback please?
