Last Saturday, after I first ate, I was struck with a bad stomach pain that lasted the rest of the day, a little into Sunday, got worse on Monday and then vaguely on Tuesday and then I haven't had it since. I've also had nausea after meals and when I wake up, and I get full quickly. I sometimes get hungry but even a drink of water can make me feel full for hours. I'm thinking that maybe it's IBS, since I've had anxiety and depression for a while, but the symptoms came on rather suddenly... I had a brief period of vague abdominal pain a few weeks back, but it was more annoying than uncomfortable and nothing else was wrong. Does anybody else have IBS, and if so are your symptoms similar?

I have severe IBS and my symptoms are unlike yours. From what you are describing, it sounds more to do with your stomach than intestines (bowels). IMHO - if this is something that started suddenly and not something you have had chronically - I would see a Doctor. There are so many things that it COULD be, and of course it might just have been a "bug" that hopefully should be OK by now. PM me if u wanna really talk about IBS issues - might be alittle graphic for here ............ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Hope you feel better soon !

i had those same symptoms and i finally found a doctor who told me i have gastroparesis and dysmotilty type non-ulcer dyspepsia.. basically means my stomach doesn't empty quick enough and i have chronic indigestion. i am on meds for it now. i have ibs as well, but that is just in the bowels. ask your doc about motility disorders. that might be what is wrong. getting the right meds to speed up your system might work. just sharing my situation. hope you feel better!

Thanks, Parker and RubyLizard. I'm going to give it one more week and then think about going to the dr. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
