My wife and I haven't had sex for about 4-5 years (I'm not really sure), and yet we seem perfectly at ease with this. If I need to "seek some relief" in front of the computer, it's totally cool with her.

I always try to keep passion alive by keeping suggestion or innuendo playful each evening, but I always remain a gentlemen and back off when she just wants to have a quiet evening.

We have been married 12 years, and it keeps getting better and better. I really love her. I am pushing 40, and I am comfortable with my age.

Is five years of celibacy considered unhealthy?

I think it is more of a relationship issue.. celebacy can be a good thing... but isn't that what marriage is supposed to counteract? Not sure if this is a health topic I think you are both missing a part of a good relationship...
