If you should ever meet with the Pope (or if he talks to himself), the
correct way to address him is "Your Holiness."

Best,

The closest I ever got to the Pope was when I took the tour with the Dutch Nuns through the Vatican Gardens & Vatican City, wandering through the Vatican, the Vatican Library & Sistine Chapel while in Roma back in 1976 was definitely a most inspiring experience.

I was able to spend 5 weeks just wandering around Roma, so wandered several times through those places because you can't absorbe it in just one visit. The beauty is beyond description.

Never did see "Holiness" when I was there, but saw the window he addressed the people from. Very fascinating to see it in real life.

What do you do with a cat that has decided to use the dining table as a bed... never mind that *I* want to use it for my sewing table?? SHEESH! He's so RUDE! Off Topic

I let mine use it whenever they want to. If I am eating I try to keep them at a sufficient distance. But I don't have the problem of wanting to use it as a sewing table...

Am I sufficiently off topic?

Yes, pachyderm, you failed to be off topic :-) because you responded directly to SeptemberMorn's cat-on-the-table topic. I believe the only way one can be deemed off topic in this thread is to do a non sequitur, totally unrelated topic (SeptemberMorn was off topic, for example, as cats/pets/dining room tables/crafts, had not been mentioned yet).

Notice I said "yes", you failed? I'm with Alexandra, being on topic is off topic.

How is it possible to be off topic?

In responding to this thread does that mean I am on topic in discussing being off topic?

Isn't psychology interesting! Off Topic

I'm thinking of dying my hair a darker brown. In the sunlight it looks reddish and I don't want my hair to be red.
I like my coffee with lots of hazlenut creamer...don't need sugar 'cause the creamer is really, really sweet.

I just realized, I don't have any winter clothes. I threw all my winter clothes away at the beginning of summer because I wanted to purge everything that didn't fit well, had holes or stains or I just didn't wear it at all. That pretty much left me with a pretty skimpy winter selection. I guess I'll have to go shopping! Off Topic

I finally figured out what is making some of the small trees i care for at the greenhouse, loose their sap...... it's a black scaley bug and I'm going to go google it, so I can learn how to eradicate it!

As for shopping, Pickle...you can come to my closet....I have so many cloths I haven't worn. I lost so much weight that nothing fit, only it was sad to just give them away.....so there they sit....but now I'm moving & don't want to move them.

What size are you???

Now for my off topic:

I am moving my horses tomorrow back to the ranch where I originally had them boarded (but moved them because of a trigger set off by the ladies husband 1 1/2 years ago).

The lady where I am boarding became really strange & I needed to do something with my horses before moving them to KY. This became the perfect solution because right now, I can't afford to have the barn built on my farm.

My almost 3 year old filly is going there to be greenbroke....& her potential looked into as far as becomming the dressage horse I have been dreaming about. This will be the deciding point as to whether she will be going to KY or whether I should sell her (I am praying that she will be that wonderful horse in my mind).

My old man who is 28, with arthritis & partially blind, hasn't been ridden for quite awhile. If he is well enough to make the trip to KY, then having him back at this ranch will give me a perfect place to ride him where he & I are both safe from the stumble we went through a couple of years ago, when he stumbled over a gofer hole, went down, gashed his leg 6" x 2" & I landed on my head with a massive concussion. This way, I can build up his muscles again, so he will be stronger to make the trip. He has been very mad at me where he is boarded now. I haven't felt safe enough to ride him, & now everytime I walk up to him, he turns around & walks away from me. I can see how mad he is at me for ignoring him & loosing the partnership we had for so many years. It is sad to see him like that & it became even more obvious when I got back from KY.

My mare is going along for the group with the change. After loosing her last foal 1 1/2 years ago, she attached herself back to Izzy (her previous foal). Separation anxiety is at an all time high when they are separated. Hopefully things will be calm for her, returning to her previous home.

I am looking forward to getting back involved with my horses everyday & being able to do the riding I have been so missing. I didn't realize until I did a small trail ride at the ranch I'm moving back to just how much I missed my horse contact. Even though I am up to my eyes in packing.....I need the wonderful relief that my horses give to me & I give back the bonding to them.

I am so excited to get this part of my life back into being active again.

Talking about cookies...I can't stop eating them. I got these big chocolate cookies that were in the $1 aisle at the supermarket and they are sooooo good. I've eaten 3 in the last hour. Oink!

Talking about eating....I have found the best chips....I eat at least 1 bag a day. They are the new pringles.....they are sweet potatoe chips with cinnimon sugar on them.....oh my goodness. I found them at WalMart while in Kentucky. I went back to get more & they were all sold out. There are 4 or 5 different flavors, but the sweet potatoe cinnimon ones are always gone.

Now when I go to the store, I buy all they have....I am the piggy when it comes to those chips.

Guess I shouldn't say how good they are, or I will never be able to find them....everyone else will be buying them up like I do.
