My period was supposed to end yesterday....now the bleeding is very light and pink in color. This worries me because I don't know what's causing it...this has never happened to me before.

The only real reason I'm scared to death is because my mom died of cancer...it runs in the family. She had cervical cancer twice, once on her labia, and adrenal cancer. I have to get checked out ASAP because it could be anything...or nothing...but just to make sure I'm going to the doctor.

yup - get to your Dr ASAP to be sure. I've had irregular periods before and at that time it was directly related to stress. My OB/GYN ruled out all other causes first. I have irregular periods now, however, I'm in the age for menopause. I keep a yearly app't with GYN and that gives peace of mind that I'm doing all that can be done to screen for any issues. If something is pre-cancerous my hope is that it gets caught in time. I'm so sorry to learn that you lost your mom to cancer. It is very wise of you to get checked out ASAP as you know you have family history.

i agree with peanut. but i suspect the goddess might have blessed you with a precious gift. I would also get that test taken to be sure. U are in my thoughts.
