I got this cold about two weeks ago. Several days into it my right ear "closed up". This has happended from time to time when i get head colds. Its just like sorta a muffled hearing as if someones hand were over my ear or as if cotton balls were in that ear. I'm over the cold but that feeling hasn't gone away.. .. Why? How do i fix it?

Fluid? Your ears and sinuses are connected, in a way... Drink lots of water to help flush remaining toxins etc away. If it continues, talk to your MD to prevent any permanent loss of hearing. If you have ear oil drops, use them to help clear out excess fluid. Don't put anything else in your ear though.

There might be a slight swelling from your cold, yet. Again, if it doesn't improve soon, seek attention (medical)... you might need an anti-inflamatory to reduce the reaction.

Hope it clears soon!
