I looked up garlic (oil in pills or peeled clove) and you can insert it in your v. and it is really helping me with itching and stuff.

I took a very extended therapy of antibiotics (dental and sinus) which really messed up my balance there.

So I must have popped dozen tubes of gyne lotrimin, monsitat, and I know that's not good for me forever, so I tried garlic and it's helping.

I also take it internally.

it's good for other vag infections, too.

Tee tree oil (essential oil) diluted with sweet almond oil applied directly also helps immensely! It has a wonderful instant cooling effect and helps fight the infection. I use it any time I feel a yeast infection coming on and most of the time can head off an infection. When I do get one I ask my doctor to prescribe fluconozone. It's a pill that cures yeast infections without the messy creams.

One of the best things you can do if the infection is stubborn is to cut everything sugary from your diet. No sweets at all--even fruit or fruit juice. Or sweetened yogurt. Yeast thrives on sugar, and the more you can starve it the better. It makes me VERY grumpy, but it is worth it.

Here's one for you. I use to suffer all the time from yeast infections. I would get rid of one just to have another follow. Antibiotics were the worst for giving them to me. Some days I thought I would just die!! Best cure ever-Plain Yogurt. Dilute a couple of Tbs with some warm water. It's not messy, or sticky or smelly, LOL and it works. It's the Yeast. Don't get a fruity flavor either (Plain) I know cherry right. HeHe Oh, try to start giving up the panties. Especially at night. (never at night) My daughter fought me for years but when she was in tears she finally listened to me. You will finally get rid of them permanently.

thanks.

I am open to other suggestions.

Don't know if I can completely cut out sugar, but I do know this.

I am thinking about going to OA again.

Knock on wood I've only ever gotten two in my life and both were caused by an extended round of antibiotics. My doctor prescribed fluconozone and told me to eat 6 servings of plain yogurt a day. Well I can't eat yogurt. For some reason I just vomit it back up but I did find out I can drink DanActive. Only took about a week and both times it cleared right up.

Now when I am on antibiotics I drink 3 DanActives a day and have never had another recurrence. good luck to you.
Thanks for this!

After being on garlic, both vaginally and orally, I am noticing for the first time that my dsicharge is more clear and less cottage cheesy.

I am going to stay on it for a little longer, then see what happens.

I drank only one cup of coffee today, instead of 3.

Not sure how well garlic will help a vaginal yeast infection but it should keep the vampires away

I'm 26 years old and have been dealing with recurring yeast infections/BV for 4 years. I was about to lose my damn mind because it never went away and was absolutely disgusting...I had to scoop the discharge out of my vagina every morning (TMI) while trying not to throw up. Don't even get me started on the itching...basically, I hated my life.

Anyway, I tried literally everything on this forum (ACV, coconut oil, garlic, yogurt, tea tree oil, every probiotic brand, AZO, etc.) and NOTHING worked for me.
I started the treatment with Cervugid Ovules recommended by obgyn. This treatment is done in 3 courses (3boxes). One ovule per night for 12nights (1 course). After the first box I had a break for 7days and I started with the second box (second course), after the second box I had again a break for 7day and I started with the third box (third course). After i finished all 3 courses ( each) I went back to the gyno and tested me for yeast infection again and it came Negative so I have been cured from this disease.
I’m so I'm happy that i got rid of vaginal yeast infection. I was sick of me…with that terrible smell…
