Hi, I've just been diagnosed, and am breaking out all over. Psoriasis It's getting better since I've been tanning and using the topical med, but I'm still not able to wear anything but pants (and it's about 95 degrees where I live). Does anybody else have this?

Also, the med I'm on makes me really nauseous when I eat anything with dairy in it -- even dark chocolate!! Not ok, since I'm PMSing. And it makes me feel "tweaked out" since it's a steroid and I have to take Adderall as well.

Sorry, I'm just ranting. If anyone has it, do you know if the dry patches of skin will leave scars or discoloration? I hope not, cause that'd mean my whole body would be scarred. And I have always been complimented on my skin, too... Psoriasis Oh well, it could be much worse.

Jess~
My brothers and sisters have this really bad. I have exema ... but mildly. Unfortunately it does leave scarring if you scratch it or dont use your medication as needed . And the tanning/ sun is good for it. Keep that up if you can but watch for skin cancer. My brother has had that also , and has had to have several patches of it removed. I know its a horrible thing to have. Just keep using your SPcreams too ok? That will help . Good luck. Wish I could help you out more on this.

Hugz~

Thank you for posting Beth Psoriasis you've definitely provided me with some good information. I'm a habitual scratcher, so I guess I'll have to restrain myself... it's not that it itches, just that it bothers me to look at it. It's like picking at a scab or something.

What are the SPcreams? I'm on a cortisone steroid, but it's a topical spray. How is exema different from psoriasis?

Thanks!

Jess
