Ok so this is kinda a weird question, but noone is in chat to discuss it so I figure I will put it out threre and see what people think. for the last few days I have been thinking that I might be getting some sort of bladder or UT infection. I mean I drink nearly 80oz of fluid a day and only pee like twice! And now today my bladder hurts. not bad, more just like it is really soar, almost liek when you do too many situps. But I have the sensation like I will have to pee soon, but can wait several hours, espically if I just went. I am not sure if i should see if it gets better or worse or if I should just go to the doctor. I mean it has been about a year since I have had a UTI, but the last 3 or 4 summers I have had one every summer. Any thoughts or sugestions would be appreciated.

Hi 1Dar,

Go see your Doctor ASAP!

Last thing you need is for a simple UTI to turn into a kidney infection. Its just a summer thing I think, hotter temperatures make it very nice for bacteria.

Hope you get over it soon! Bladder?

Yes, you need to see a Dr about it. The symptoms you describe do not seem 'normal'. The sooner this is taken care of, the better...

Good luck.

YES............ please make a doctor appt ASAP!!! - from working in the hospital myself for years I have to say that it could possibly be more than an old UTI.

you all make it sound like it coud be really serious, I just don't know. It is sorta better today but still "soar" and this is something else i noticed....it seems like when i "push" it hurts more. I can't get in to doctor today for sure, but will have to call tomorrow if it gets worse. Will check in to see what people think agian before work, then agian after work.

Please see a doctor as soon as you can. It may be nothing but it would be better to catch any potential infections sooner rather than later. Just reading "kidney infection" makes me cringe. I had one once and I hope to never be that sick ever again.

((((((((((((( 1Dar )))))))))))))))

Please call your Dr as soon as you can. It sounds like another infection. Please get some cranberry juice tonight and start drinking it, but be sure and go see the Dr.

Hugs,

Jan

OK - well, if you are not going to go to the doctors then at least go to the local grocery store and buy a large container of Cranapple Juice (Ocean Spray) and drink it all up today - with the last cup being right before you go to bed.
Let it set in your body over night before you go to the restroom - the bacteria will stick to the cranberries and be flushed out. (may have to repeat)

Sounds exactly like a bladder infection. I'd continue drinking fluid, and try some Cranberry juice. If that don't help see a Doc.

I'm a pro on bladder infections, I've been suffering from them since I was a little girl, the only time they went away was when I was pregnant.

I hope you feel better, if not see a Doc and they can help you.
