no. they are not like hives.

They don't itch or anything. They kind of have the texture and look of a callous - a hard raised spot of layers of skin. but unlike a callous warts spread because unlike a spot of callous they are caused by a virus. There are many wart removers on the market like compound w and freeze off and you can also go to a physician and they will remove the warts also.

You may have athelete foot. your family physician can tell you for sure.

My exema doesnt get black spots in the middle just rough heat rash like skin and the skin cracks and bleeds. I use lotrimin cream and or Mometasone Furoate (Elocon) cream from my physician on it and it clears right up.

I had planters warts / verucca's on both feet (years ago). They had to be surgically removed. I remember some itching. But they hurt and pained, especially if my feet were hanging. And yes, they had black dots in the middle.

It does not sound like hives .. or athletes foot (to me) perhaps better to have it seen to.

Better get going to the doctor now.... for as you itch them they will and can spread.... my son started out with two on his right foot and as he scratched they opened up and allowed the virus out (warts are from a virus) and then he had 15 warts in all that needed to be removed by a doctor.... they were cut and frozen off his hand (the one he used to scratch them with) and from his right foot.

LoVe,
Rhapsody - do planters warts itch????

I had planters on the bottom of my foot. I had 4 spots of them. they burned them off. no pain at all in that either. they grow in not out but may have a little raised area. they can wrap around the nerves in your feet though. I can't remember if they itched or not

Speaking of doctors and back pain reminded me of this.

What happened? How did it go?
