while my back is getting better, i think those exercises that he gave me are helping a whole lot. ( no Pt yet)
I have now seemed to hurt my knee... this morning when I got up I felt as it i had an air bubble under my knee cap.. i took one wrong step and i felt a pull and a deep burning sensation running down my leg. now when i straighten my knee all the way it burns and pulls badly... any suggestions

Mel, you must go to the Dr! You might need a brace or splint. Please do go.

Hugs,

Jan

You are not a bad Mom. Infections, sinus or otherwise happen to our kids. Us Mom's feel that it should never happen but, like chicken pox, we often don't have a say in the matter.

Have you been to the doc yourself yet?? Your knee might be feeling better but have you had the whole thing seen to yet?

I honestly think and feel that you need a good and thorough physical! Top to bottom!

Thinking of you!!

Mel ... a complete top to bottom physical ... nothing else.

Hon ... you need to be tip top for your precious young 'uns, and of course for you .... you need to be tip top for you too.

Off my soap box now!

am home... feeling like dog snot.... was running a slight fever at the dr office... he looked at my knee and took some x-rays..... nothing broken, no chips, strains or stress fractures, he said i have a good amount of cartilage in between so he isnt worried about torn cartilage... doesnt think that i have torn any thing, but did say that he thinks i have hyperextended it, but not to the point that i have torn anything...... he said sometimes you hyperextend your knee and you knee cap will slam back against your lower leg bones and cause bruising on the inside.. this is what he thinks happened.........so ice, rest, elevation, and take this pain med that is to help reduce the swelling as well as help with the pain.... he said no squatting, bending, jumping( yeah right) or running ( again..... i can barely walk) for a week......

Being a Mom - it's going to be hard, but please do take care of that knee. Rest up as much as you can. Sounds to me like you might just be a bit burnt out. Please rest as much as you can.

Hey Mel,

Please do what the Dr says no matter how inane it sounds. Knee injuries can come back to haunt you. Trust me, I know!

Hugs,

Jan
