Per my husband..... some ppl never do - SORRY!
...maybe try asking your doctor for a nasal tube, like what you get when in the hospital.

I have sleep apnea and use a bi-pap machine. It is like a cpap, but has two different air settings.

I use the "nasel pillows" type of mask and it allows me to read, etc. while wearing the mask.

I have been using the bi-pap for about a month now and I am just really getting use to it. Give it some time.

How long have you had the cpap?

3 days is really to early to tell how the cpap will work for you.

Give it some time, but know that there are a variety of masks out there so if the one you have doesn't work for you, you can always try another.

Good luck
