My blood pressure is out of kilter. It's incredibly high. My colitis has been out of control and I'm so tired I can barely function. In fact, I've been barely able to leave the apt. for days.

All the illness made my panic rise up like a demon haunting me even in my sleep. I forced myself out of the apartment today. Please keep me in prayer, good wishes, or whatever positive things you have to offer.

Thanks,

Jan

I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Is there any chance that the healthy changes in your diet could be making your body feel worse (more stress due to change)? I know that when my hubby eats foods that he hasn't had in a while, his stomach circles the invader warily and then a mini-war ensues. Other times he will just get a headache and feel "off" for a few hours. His body doesn't do change very well. Been very ill and exhausted

Thank you so much for writing. You could very well be right. My body is used to running on a lot of caffiene and sugar and it's getting very little of either.

I've been truly bone tired and weary for a long time though and the blood pressure has been slowly rising since January. It might be my meaness. Been very ill and exhausted

Hugs,

Jan

oh sweetie i am very sorry to hear that Been very ill and exhausted

i hope it gets better.

What Elizabeth said above may be a valid point for *feeling worse than usual* re sugar and caffeine ...

i have a friend who if he doesn't get sugar? well he's unbearably uncomfortable. he doesn't drink alcohol or take drugs AT ALL but sugar is his high. it's quite scary how intense any withdrawal is.

good luck babe ...

((((((((Jan)))))))) As you well know (thanks for listening to me rant about it! LOL), I've had a significant change in diet in the last 5 months, one I didn't initiate and didn't want -- I can tell you that such drastic changes as you've made can definitely throw your body off! Even before moving in with the Food Police, when my white count was nonexistent I wasn't allowed "fresh" anything -- all veggies, fruit, etc had to be canned or cooked.

Lemme tell ya -- I had bowel problems for MONTHS when I was allowed to start eating fresh fruit and veggies again!

I'd be worried about the BP and not so much about the sugar and caffeine withdrawal Been very ill and exhausted. Have you been able to get in to the doc yet?

Love, Candy

(((((((((((((( Friends ))))))))))))))

Thank you all so very much. I have an appt. the last week of this month with my family Dr. I couldn't get in any sooner.

I'm drinking one soda a day. I don't seem to be able to make it without it. I discovered Propel water and it tastes good and has some vitamins and only 2 g of carbs. That's helping the craving for more soda. (Actually we call "soda" pop here, but some of you might not recognize it if I call it that.) Been very ill and exhausted

Other than that I'm trying hard to hang in here. I went to bed at 7:30 last night. I just could not sit up any longer. Then of course, I woke up around 10 and couldn't go back to sleep until midnight. Grrr. This nonsense has to stop!

Thank you again for reading and responding. It means so much to me.

Hugs,

Jan
