hi, can i ask a few very specific question about this topic?

like, is it even possiable to have two cancers at the same time (e.g. bone and brain cancer), have them diagnosed at an early stage, go through the operations, and survive both of them? or would one end up eventually killing him?...

Yes it is possible to have two different cancers though it is more common for one kind of cancer to travel the body for example I have been diagnosed with Muccosis Associated Lymphocytic Tissue Lymphoma. (MALT Lymphoma) it is a non hodgekins cancer simular to leukemia. Right now it is in remission. it was found in my stomach but this type of cancer travels the lymph nodes to other parts of the body. So even though it was considered I had stomach cancer at any point should the cancer cells begin showing up in my body it can travel to my legs, arms, brain, any of my organs and so on. if for example it settles in my brain then I have brain cancer, if it settles in my leg bone its called bone cancer.

Each type of cancer has a name but is also called by the area where it is also found. my malt lymphoma was also considered stomach cancer because that is where it was found. a friend of mine had lung cancer but the type of cancer he/she had could have been found anywhere in his/her body. the lungs is just where the cancer cells were found. I know someone that had throat cancer but that type of cancer moved through out his body to other areas stomach, prostate and so on.

Im living proof that people can survive cancer, I have a friend who survived breast cancer and stomach cancer, and so on.

What makes survival or death is frame of mind, early detection and early and sometimes aggressive treatment.

wow. i feel proud for you and your friend. so basically the answer is yes, an 18 year old male would be able to survive two cancers at the time with the correct treatment? thank you. because i thought that there would be a neutral answer to that, since the brain and the skeletal system are still developing....

again, thanks! Cancer for an 18 year old male?....

you're welcome cancer knows nothing about whether or not the persons body is still developing or not there are new born babies out there being diagnosed with cancer there are 85 year olds out there being diagnosed with cancer. Some are caused by bacteria and viruses for example MALT Lymphoma is caused by Heliobacter Pyloria (Heel E O Back Ter Pie Lore E a) and some cervical, vaginal uterine cancers are caused by HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). I know a guy that got cancer just by getting hit in the privates with a sportsball and never took the steps to have the injury checked out.

Cancers happen in many ways which is why its so hard to find a cure. but normal body growth has no bearing on having it or rate of cures.

I don't think anything is certain with cancer. Anything is possible.
