Your heart rate should never be over 130 beets per minute. That is if you are working out. For resting heart rate you should be lower than what you have. You should talk to your doctor about this! *hugs*

resting heart rate:
newborn infants; 100 to 160 beats per minute children 1 to 10 years; 70 to 120 beats per minute children over 10 and adults; 60 to 100 beats per minute well-trained athletes; 40 to 60 beats per minute Typical values for a resting, healthy adult human are approximately 120 mmHg systolic and 80 mmHg diastolic (written as 120/80 mmHg). High blood pressure (or hypertension) is defined in an adult as a blood pressure greater than or equal to 140 mm Hg systolic pressure or greater than or equal to 90 mm Hg diastolic pressure. * * * * * * * * * American Heart Association recommended blood pressure levels Blood Pressure Category Systolic (mm Hg) Diastolic (mm Hg) Normal less than 120 and less than 80 Prehypertension 120–139 or 80–89 High Stage 1 140–159 or 90–99 Stage 2 160 or higher or 100 or higher *Your doctor should evaluate unusually low readings. a normal "average" heart beat is 72 beats a minute and each heart beat cycle lasts 0.85 seconds.
But every person has their own baseline slightly more or less the average rate. Your family physician can tell you what your baseline is because physicians usually take vitals - heart beat blood pressure and temp regularly with each visit to them. all he or she would have to do is look at a few of your appointment records where they already took your vitals in the past and in doing so can tell you if you are too high or low and so on. |

anxiety DEFINETLY can cause a higher heart rate. Mine runs about 90-110 BBM. My blood pressure is usually Mild high, or what they call high normal. So, I just have to watch it. They say the dangerous read is the second smaller one, the one with an 80 read.
I think your probably fine but if its bothering you you can see the doc or even talk to a pharmacist. |
