I'm unsure if this is where I'm to post something like this, but I'm curious about something...I drink a lot of soft drink, specifically, Coke-Cola.
Lately I've been sick almost all the time and have a lot of headaches...I'm just wondering, could drinking too much coke be the cause of this? Just so you know how much, some days I'll have 2 bottles of 600ml along with a couple of glasses...other days it's more like 1 liter from a 2 liter bottle... |

The caffeine could be giving you the headaches and, if you aren't getting enough water to drink, you could be dehydrated too. So much sugar can give you headaches and other upsets also. I'd work on my diet, see if I could drink less soda and eat better food (an apple a day keeps the doctor away can really work :-) I got cans of seltzer water and drank some of them pretending they were soda, you'll wreck your gut pretty fast if all you drink is soda and that's not fun.

I spoke to a nurse about this one time and told her how I was drinking 1 to 2 litres of pepsi max a day. She told me that it can make your bones leak and also reminded me how it rots your teeth! Plus, if you are trying to keep the weight off, the sweetner in diet coke (and other diet drinks or those that contain sweetner) makes you releases, insulin and when it doesn't receive the actual sugar, it makes you feel hungry and munch more!
Anyway, all that was enough for me so only treat myself to 2 litres at the weekend!

I get soda cravings a lot that are hard to deny. But I read something recently saying about 30 uses that coke is used for besides drinking due to the ingredients that are common in house cleaning substances. Too much sugar can definitely cause headaches and other ailments especially after prolonged intake. I personally avoid white sugar because it's processed through animal bone char and that turns me off from wanting to consume it. Also, artificial sweeteners such as that in diet coke aren't much better. They contain a chemical called Aspartame which is linked to so many different diseases like brain cancer. I heard somewhere that they use it in rat poison too, though I'm not sure on that one.
