because we have moved out of the area for our old doctor we have had to register with new surgery hubby has spoken with a foreign female doc but only to get a sick note, they never had any medical notes or even the letter that we dropped into the surgery from old doc, took daughter to see one of docs, but she was only a traniee and had to ask her supervisor for advice this now has me worried about going to see the doctors when i need to

Be your own advocate. Write down a list of your concerns and make sure you talk to the new Dr. about each one. It helps to have the list when you get nervous. Hugs, Jan

thank you for your reply, i went to the docs today because i needed meds and they wouldnt do a repeat untill i had seen someone, i was very anxious about them not knowing ywhy i was there, and i had to give them a brief hisroy of what has been going on over the last couple of years, and i still havent covered everything , they want me to see a nurse so they can do bloods and other tests, because my blood preasure was high again he says it might be tbecause its the first time i have been there, and they said they will have to have a look over my notes to see what else has been going on,
but i have to do this again tomorrow for two of my children as they need meds too, again im going to have to explain everything because they dont have all the notes there
