I've had a bit of a set back recently, and in one week's time I regained the 12 pounds I had lost ------>Back to eating healthily!!!!!!<------- Bummer. However, that doesn't mean I will stop working on this. I didn't eat unhealthily (is that a word?) but the body didn't use the food like it was supposed to! ------>Back to eating healthily!!!!!!<-------

So...back to the Holford GL way of eating. No sugar mainly. Balanced nutrition. (Leaving out the white foods too.) I will be happy with 2 lbs a week loss. I actually have some fruit in the refrigerator ------>Back to eating healthily!!!!!!<------- TTYL ------>Back to eating healthily!!!!!!<-------

Good for you Sky! I just completed my first 12 weeks of no wheat, no sugar, and no dairy. I lost 31 pounds and something like 14 inches. I'm so pleased because I haven't been able to do that in a long time.

It is tough though - and you're right 2 pounds a week is a really good goal.

Sky, surely that 12 pounds is water gain. You would have had to eat junk food 24/7 to gain that much in one week!

I dunno -- I once (when I was much younger and considerably traumatized after my son's birth) lost 30 pounds in 2 weeks -- and have heard of people gaining at that rate as well -- but it's usually a sign of a health problem. ------>Back to eating healthily!!!!!!<------- Sky, have you had a physical lately?
