eating out

I have never been out to eat where I scared to be there until this evening. This city use to be very nice. They put public transportation in and it went to hell in a handbag. Tonight my husband and I were sitting in a chicken place and a bunch of hoodlums came in being very loud. I live in a county with over 52 gangs. These guys were talking about buying drugs and honestly I was afraid to look up or anywhere other than may husband's face. *sigh* I hate this!

It's an awful feeling to be intimdated when you're just trying to relax.

Oh, I'm sorry you went through that, Bee. I have been to places where I didn't feel all that safe, and worried where to look, lest someone think I was staring at them.

Been there, Be. It's very dangerous where I live. It's awful, isn't it?

Jax we do go out quite a bit actually. We have just never had this happen. We were sitting there with no one else in the resturant when about 4 young black males walked in being very loud talking about buying drugs. I knew they were bad boys when they came in. That isn't something that happens alot. I didn't say I have never been afraid out of the house before. In April a guy carjacked one sitting beside my car and I had a gun pointed in my face.
